My Top 5 Go-To Beautycounter Products: Skincare
Makeup and skincare were my last holdouts when it came to healthier living (ie a life with less nasty chemicals). But I just couldn’t put my energy into searching for and trying out new products. And put my faith into something CLEANER too…? Ugh, seemed like a stretch. But Beautycounter has got me #blessed! I was delighted and surprised when I tried the products a few years ago. Beautycounter products last A LONG TIME (no joke!) but they truly perform well. Countermatch Refresh Foaming Cleanser
Beautycounter has all types of cleansers, from creams to milks to foams, but I will forever love one that gets all sudsy and bubbly! So, the Countermatch Refresh Foaming Cleanser is my all-time favorite. The Countermatch line “is formulated to match the natural structure of the skin and deliver long-lasting moisture—for an everyday glow.” How can you not love that? I use it to wash my face twice a day, and is perfect for shaving!
Counterstart Cococream Cleanser & Cocoboost Moisturizer
This duo is great for sensitive skin; the gentle cleanser doesn’t strip away moisture, and the moisturizer is non-greasy and absorbs quickly. Formulated with coconut oil and aloe, they soothe and nourish. A good everyday, no frills way to take care of all-skin types. This Counterstart combo is also a cleaner swap for Cetaphil products!
Counter+ All Bright C Serum
If I’m lacking sleep, or not eating well, my skin is sure to look a bit lifeless. That’s why the Counter+ All Bright C Serum is HANDS DOWN one of my all-time favorite BC products. It uses turmeric and vitamin C to brighten skin over time AND IMMEDIATELY! It also has a wonderful spicy citrus scent ( I. LOVE. CITRUS.) and leaves my skin feeling supple. It’s a great morning pick-me-up!
Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel
The Overnight Resurfacing Peel is food for balancing out skin tone, and brightening skin over time. It’s not a traditional peel (you don’t have to ACTUALLY peel it off), but it uses gentle fruit acids to slough surface cells and reveal brighter skin underneath. Gentle enough for everyday use!
Countersun Mineral Sunscreen Stick
Beautycounter has seven sun protection products, but the Countersun Mineral Sunscreen Stick is my favorite! It’s portable and can be used all over. I carry it with me to use on my tattoos, and I’m grateful to have it in a pinch!
